Nik @ Nyt
The Nik @ Nyt Show has returned to the Wiregrass! He left us in 2004 but is now back…married and living the dream. Born and raised two hours south of Chicago, Nik is a small town boy at heart. The road Nik grew up on was smaller than a football field, which left little for him to do but watch TV and listen to music, and it has now paid off! Nik is a pop-culture fanatic and will annoy you with his deep opinions on everything pop culture! Nik spends most of his time watching movies, listening to music, BBQing, reading and playing with Addison – the rescue dog Nik and his wife adopted a year ago!
Get to know Nik at Nyt:
What have you been up to since you left the Wiregrass?
I got married to the best woman on earth on June 25th, 2005. Her name is Molly and she has to be a little crazy, if he puts up with my crap! We love to travel and have vacationed in Boston, Los Angeles, Door County Wisconsin and made several trips to Chicago. We hope to visit Europe someday as well.
Why did you come back to the Big Dog?
Because I missed the people and Conestoga. LOL! But seriously, the people of the Wiregrass accepted me and that’s not something anyone should take for granted. So I decided to come back.

What can you tell us about country artists you’ve met??
Most have been very cool to meet and are great people. Some are shy, some are uncomfortable and some you can tell they have had a bad day. The top three coolest have been Eddie Montgomery, Phil Vassar and George Strait, watching The King and my dad talk horses and ranching was very cool!
What else can you tell me about yourself?
Well, I spent a lot of time on a farm with hay, horses and tractors….and I don’t have a clue how to start the tractors let alone drive them, LOL! But I do like horses. I also read comics…go ahead and laugh but I like it! Last thing about me: I love Jeeps! LOVE JEEPS!
